MARK HATTEN’S OFFICIAL RELEASE STATEMENT

DECEMBER 27, 2007, LA, CA.
Mark “Hollywood” Hatten has returned to the free world most of us already live in.
He has written a statement about this freedom he now has.
What follows is an Official Statement from
Mark Richmond Hatten.

Christmas Day 2007 was the greatest Christmas I’ve ever known!
I turned 40 years of age Christmas Eve, and finally made parole five years and eight
months after arriving at Pleasant Valley State Prison.
I don’t know how I can express in words, the margin of the reality I’m feeling.
I am grateful to be given this second chance at life.

I think of all those people that are Angels in heaven looking down,
watching over me, guiding me and protecting me.
It pains my heart and soul when I think of Anna Nicole crying her eyes out over the death of her son Daniel.
I feel even more pain whenever I think of Dannilynn and how sad it is that she will never have that mother – daughter relationship she deserves.
I can’t turn back the hands of time and even if I could, those people that wouldn’t listen to me then, most likely still wouldn’t listen now, to my cries to save Anna Nicole’s life.
They then fell on deaf ears and because my voice was silenced by the bars that held me, I found other ways to try to get anyone’s attention.
But to no avail.
She and Daniel died anyway.
Such useless deaths of my heart felt family.

Life goes on for all of us.
I’m asked what are my plans for the future?
I’ll tell you this…my intentions are good, my path is clear, and my goal is to right all
of the wrongs.
Expect to see a lot more of me.
Everything from art projects to legal battles.
I’m in this life thing to win.
As they say,”The truth will come out in the end.”
Have a blessed life.
Happy Holidays and best wishes in 2008.
